Originally determined to become a filmmaker, I quickly realized the power narrative has to change minds, and the potential it has to make a positive impact on the world. For over two decades I have helped adults and young people learn the art and craft of storytelling. I believe in producing stories based on research and evidence, fueled by passion, and within the framework of ethical decision-making.
To further those goals, I’ve worked with organizations like Apple, Adobe, Google, National Geographic, and PBS, and built an international network of collaborators to inform my practice. I’ve travelled to Singapore, Cuba, Cambodia and Vietnam in my effort to help others learn to publish their own work. Proof of concept is in my podcast, presentations I give at conferences like SXSW EDU, ebooks, and my monthly email newsletter. I hope to support you as you share your story with others, and affect positive change in the world. |
