Michael is an award-winning educator, best-selling author, and international speaker who helps educators adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world.
As a trusted expert and curriculum designer, he has worked with schools, startups, non-profits, and corporations to develop their brand and engage their stakeholders. As an education consultant he helps educators develop authentic, student-centered learning experiences that strengthen digital and civic literacy, and design innovative curriculum with a global mindset. The ultimate goal being to prepare students to be intellectually agile and emotionally resilient community members who have a lifelong love of learning. His new book, Storytelling With Purpose: Digital Projects To Ignite Student Curiosity, helps us reinvigorate education by leveraging student passion, curiosity, and authenticity to solve some of the most existential challenges in education today: artificial intelligence and low student engagement. His online course, Uncheatable Assessments, helps educators develop mindsets and assignments that foster academic integrity and elevate student engagement.
